So in case you guys are wondering, I did get a new camera! (You probably weren't wondering, but still, I can gloat a bit can't I?)
That explains why I am submitting so many photos out of the blue. Haha. Nikon D3000, it's a dream come true! Thank the lord, or whatever there is to thank.
Also, going to see Video Games Live tonight! YAY!

Well. Today in philosophy we were talking about art and censorship, rules, things of that nature. I've been thinking about how it's against the rules to post art that depicts sexual intercourse. I understand that most people who draw sex seem to draw it in a lewd, tasteless manner (but then again, my definition of tasteless may or may not be another person's definition)... and I also understand that children could be browsing the internet and could very well stumble upon such images... but isn't that why we have an 18+ mature content filter? I'm not trying to start trouble or say HEY THESE RULES ARE BAD LET'S BREAK THEM!! I'm just questioning the rules. I am entitled. What do you guys think?
I think sexual intercourse is (well, should be) a very beautiful, artistic, and amazing thing! If someone paints a fantastic piece of two people (lovers) having sex, I don't see it as pornographic material(although it seems that deviantART does). I would just really like to create such artwork and share it with this community, but I wouldn't because it's against the rules. I'll respect the rules, but I will still question and discuss.
